Govt considering to install solar systems on ZP schools in Maha minister

Nagpur, Dec 20 (UNI) Rural Development Minister Girish Mahajan on Wednesday informed the Maharashtra Assembly that the state government will seriously consider a proposal to install solar systems in all schools of Zilla Parishads in the state.
Replying to a question raised by member Sanjay Savkare in this regard in the lower house, he said that under the District Annual Plan (General) Year 2019-20, solar systems were installed on 17 ZP schools in Raver taluka under the Non-Conventional Energy Development Scheme.
However, some units of the solar system at Government Ashram School, Lalmati in Raver, which was installed in the year 2011 and shut down due to natural calamity (storm), will restart soon.
The pending process of installing solar system in schools in Jalgaon district will be done in next two months, the minister added.
